My first amp was a little combo Sears-type amp. Probably had a 10" or 8" speaker. I have no idea what became of it.

However, that amp was a gift. The first amp I bought was one of these:



I still have it. A 60's Kustom 100. The amp ain't so hot but the cab kicks behind. Has a 15" J.B. Lansing (pre-JBL company) speaker. I actually used it for bass for part of a year when I switched over to bass in a band I was in and had no proper bass amp. So far as I can tell it didn't hurt the thing, which is pretty amazing.
