The Mesa Boogie Dual Recto, pre500, is a highly sought after guitar head. Why, because these are the best sounding Recto Mesa Boogie had made. Using Mark series components, high quality parts, that's no longer used. These amps have bite to them... tone that you don't hear in today's Mesa Dual Rectos.
I'm lucky enough to get my hands on the 64th Recto made by Mesa Boogie. I feel very fortunate to have not only to see, but to play and own one of these every so Rare pre-500s.
Rumor has it, that R0001 is in Germany. Also, Mr. Randall owns a handful of pre-500s that he'll neve let go of. Why? Because these amps are the best.
