Default Crate Taxi Amplifier Review - 05-16-2008, 04:41 PM

The portable Crate Taxi operates on a rechargeable battery that provides up to eight hours of operation on a single charge. The amp delivers 30-watts to an eight-inch Crate speaker and features two-channel operation: Channel A provides clean tone, while channel B features a gain boost for distortion tones. Other features include a headphone jack, a ¼” stereo insert jack (which also functions as a line in/out) and a dual-colored LED to indicate both when the amp is on and when the battery is charging (charger included).

This reminds me ALOT of Roland's Cube Street that they came out with just a while ago. It looks kind of cool though, and it's always good to have one less power outlet to worry about. The review doesn't sound like it sounds particularly good though.

They don't. I tried one at the LMS a while ago. SUX. The Vox DA5 sounds A LOT better.

If it ain't METAL...it AIN'T music.
