Get a Metal Muff. It's what I use. I scoop the mids on my amp and the pedal, and then use a Danelectro Fish'n'Chips 7 band eq to eq some mids back in. Sweet tone of the Gods!

Always scoop the mids!!
If it ain't METAL...it AIN'T music.

How much you wanting to spend on a pedal if price aint to much a factor I would get the new GT-10 you can get any tone you want out of that thing I love mine. If you want to stay a bit cheaper the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone is not a bad pedal for the price and you can some times pick up one cheap on ebay. They also have the Boss ML-2 Metal Core Distortion Pedal out now I have not used it yet but I have used the other one and you can get some really heavy tone from it and the new one is supposed to be even better. Now also this is a nice heavy metal pedal Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff with Top Boost. Go to MF and look around most pedals have sound tests you can listen to to get an idea of its sounds then go to ebay and search them out and see what price you can get them for.

I have the Metal Muff w/top boost, and a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. Until I sent the MT-2 to Keeley Electronics, I thought it sounded HORRIBLE. TOO much mids!!! It has soooo much mid tone, it sounds digital and fake. With the Keeley mods on the other hand, sweet tone, and musical sounding. The Ultra mode can blow your speakers if you don't watch how much bass you have eq'ed in. The EH Metal Muff gets my vote, even with the Keeley mods, my Muff still sounds WAY better.

Always scoop the mids!!

It seems as no one from ebay wants to ship to Europe.

Get the big Muff. You'll have more control over your tone. The mini Muff is still a good pedal though.

Okay, I'm trying to decide between the mockingbird and this one:

http://www.thomann.de/se/bc_rich_nt_jrv.htm

Will that floyd stay in tune or will it go out of tune alot?

Thanks for answers.

EDIT: Does JR stand for Junior? Is it smaller then regular guitar?

Dude, I love both. That V is sweet. Floyd holds tune really good... and so does the mid to high level Mockingbird.

The Mockingbird would probably be more comfortable.. however, some people are more comfortable with V's. So it's a personal preference.

Do you do a lot of dive-bombs? If so, the Floyd would be the way to go.

If you like to tune your guitar down a lot, then the stopbar is the way to go.

I think JR means Junior.
