guitar neck = I I I I I II
mountain dulcimer neck = I I I I I I I

bad examples lol

those are mountain dulcimers, notice the goofy fret scale, that is modal
Ah, OK, I had it backwards then.

A'ight, I'm climbing up to get it back down off the shelves...

OK, got it.

First course: DAF#D
2nd course: FCAF
3rd course: FBGG
4th course: ECGC

After that come the courses of two strings each, each the same note. There are 15 courses, beginning at a low C and going up to a high C, with no sharps or flats: C D E F G A B C D E F G A B C.

Since it's missing most sharps and flats I guess it's modal? It comes with a little hammer to hit the strings, consisting of a handle, a metal bendy bit, and a little wooden mallet head on the other end.

LOL yeah that is most deffinatly modal, i am curious now, can you take a picture of it? i'm on a mission to figure out what it is lol, all those courses or strings almost sounds like a sitar, they are modal too, since indian scales are very odd when compared to western chromatic music.

stuff it....... then bake it.......

Actually, I have another one pending on ebay, but I'd really rather someone outbid me, as I didn't see it was paypal-only until after I bid.

$102 US takes it, there's about 1 day left:

Someone get me off the hook!

Looks like a lot for the money. My guess is someone will bid a little higher.

Depends on the song......but I have been playing the AS-73 a lot lately. It's really a nice guitar for $300.
