Hey folks, I'm thinking about making some changes to the forum. Here is a rough demo of what I might do.

I'd like to add a MP3 player so it's on the side or top. This will show random MP3s that members added. Also, there will be ads on the sides, this will help absorb some of the costs of Gear-Monkey and pay for future giveaways.

The software is still the same, so it should function similar to the current theme. I also toyed around with the idea of changing the software like thegearpage, ultimate-guitar and harmony-central forums use. However, I think being different is better. Which is why we currently use SMF (plus it's awesome software).

Anyhow, take a look at the link (that's just a rough version) and give your opinion.
