Hey guys and gals
Do you know of a JCM 800 sounding clone that does a very good 800 that won't cost me the price of a used car lol
thanks for the input by the way your forum is great

Laney GH50L or GH100L (50-watts / 100-watts) virtually are a JCM800 on steroids. If you like Toni Iommi, then this should be your amp... that's his current rig. However, Iommi still uses the JCM800 on occasion.

The price for a Laney GH50L range from $500 - $650 ish. You can also get a 2-channel, 100-watt with reverb version in the VH100R @ about $800 - $1000

Also want to add that, unlike Marshall's JCM800, the Laney is switchable from EL34s to 6L6 power tubes. Which is a great feature!

Yeah, the GH50L was great when I played it, really liked it and wouldn't mind picking one up sometime.

Also, the Peavey Windsor is like a JCM800 on steroids as well. There's also the Ceriatone clones.

you should really give Bugera amps a try.. They are basically Mesa, marshall and peavy 6505 knock offs, but a much better price

peavey windsor if youa re looking for a JCM800 dirty channel...... the windsor is a single channel amp there is no clean channel, it's a JCM800 clone, but ONLY the dirty channel
