Hey, was doing a bit of research on White Zombie and its quite interesting to learn more about their roots.

This video here is over 7 minutes long and is pure old school phsycadelic with some gringy blues feel. I like the surreal recording of the song. This is an unreleased 1986 underground tune. You cannot even tell this is Rob Zombie on vocals.

I found some other material that was absolutely horrid. I mean, Rob was a bad, out of key, and screaming singer... totally night and day of the stuff we know.

white zombie came along way, they did the band thing backwards of how it's normally done, get a guitar learn to play some covers get better in your bedroom and start a band, white zombie started their band, got some instruments and learned to play them while they wer playing gigs lol.

Cool listen. It seems most bands start with a much more blues based sound before they start branching out into their true genres. The vocals have a nice sort of raspy grating that make the song more interesting than it would have been otherwise.
