...after a long hiatus.

And no, not in the arrest reports.

Crash Pad took about a year off, and used a local homeless benefit CD as an excuse to get back together for at least one gig anyhow. Maybe more, we'll see.

I went in with a drummer and did a track for the CD late last year, and now the CD has come out and the charity is doing a bunch of benefit concerts/CD release parties to raise even more money than just the CD itself. We're playing a week from this Sunday.

The whole charity/CD/benefit thing is in a story from yesterday's Alligator, the (unofficial) UF newspaper. We got a mention in passing since we're playing the next show:

Hopefully, the Gainesville Sun will mention the show next week as well. I'd love to see a lot of people come out for this, although it's an early Sunday night show. Fingers crossed.
