This guitar is part of the soon-to-be SOLD OUT Limited Run of 2011 Les Paul Studio '60's Tribute models in
a beautiful aged honeyburst. The Gold Tops are already gone and their prices just keep going up on eBay,
etc. The honeyburst models are soon to follow in their footsteps!
This guitar has the look of a well played vintage guitar due to the special thin coated finish. This aged look has
been further enhanced with the addition of a real 30 year old Gibson pickup selector ring. The normal 60's
reflector type knobs have been replaced with gold bell knobs like they used on late 50's Les Pauls (and some
of the early 1960 models). You also get an unbound rosewood fingerboard, and a headstock set at the traditional
17-degree angle for superior transference of vibrational energy - all ingredients of the classic Les Paul Standard
of 1960. The guitar also includes a Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and vintage style tuners.
And I've added a new setup of Dunlop Dual-Design Strap Locks (for maximum protection of this beauty!)
The real icing on the cake is the dual single-coil P-90 pickups, which give the guitar a look akin to classics from
the decade of the Les Paul's birth! These pickups sound great and are perfect for everything from blues to country
or rock.
I just had the guitar professionally setup and she plays like a dream. I would keep her myself but an unexpected
recent purchase now forces me to sell this baby. The guitar has less than 1 hour of playing time on her so she is
virtually new!!!
And where this guitar originally came from the factory with only a soft gig bag style case, I'm including a brand
new deluxe hardshell case that fits the guitar like a glove. It includes 5 latches with a lock (2 keys provided).
The case alone is almost a $100 upgrade!
I accept PayPal at
mmcquain@mcquain.com, cash or USPS Money Orders. Price includes fully insured FedEx
Ground shipping with the lower 48 states. If doing local pickup you can deduct $50 since I don't have to ship
the guitar.
