I own a DD-55 Digital Percussion (lectronic kit). sized about two toms, it has a hi-hat and bass pedal as well as six rubber pad
chose to bought that because of few reasons; headphone plugable, come along with 99 midisjazz, blues, rock etc), 40 drum sounds (such as Punk rock sound, Glam rock or even techno percussion), good for training ( built in metronome and back up.), PC plugable suitable for recording and portable (can be either battery or adaptor powered.).
I just have never warmed up to electronic drums. I'd say for practice it's an excellent tool, especially if you are in an apartment or a place where you need to keep the noise down, but, there's nothing like the real thing to me.
I have just one question regarding DM10 (x Mesh). You mentioned that this is the best drum set for recording, can this be also good for live performance? Can this be a good drum set for a church service?
