Personally, I'm a fan of maple necks since they have less lacquer, hence, easier to slide up and down the neck. But maybe it's in my head. I love the graphics.

I was checking that axe out too man! I love the graphics, and I'm also a big fan of unfinished necks. I feel a gfuitar is like a woman, you get better response when you touch skin. Not a big fan of Michael Batio though.
