Today i got a new Guitar, well Old but new to me, lol. I was at a studio and a musician was saying how he had this old piece laying around and he was goign to smash it at the next show he did, So I said, don't smash it I'll give ya 20 bucks for it, and he took the 20 and brought me out the guitar. It was a 1983 B.C Rich Bich NJ Series 6 string. Not a bad deal for 20 Bucks eh? It's all original and in ok shape, just needs some new strings and some Tlc.

yeah I know eh? Good deal I think. I want to put some EMG-81/85 in it. Downtune it to drop C, and Scallop the frets from 11 to 24, change the knobs and maybe a new paint job, but it will be a work in progress

That sounds like a fun project. What color do you plan to paint it? You should change the hardware to black, or distress the current hardware... that'd look sick

Acctually I do want to do the Distressed look. You can't see in this pic, but there is quite a bit of damage from playing and lack of care. So I want to work with it, I think i will be going to an airbrush job of a tattered rebel flag on the front, with distressed hardware.

Mmmmm, a Les Paul modified like that would be hot-as-hell too. Projects are fun

Hmm yes i forgot about his, but that is not distressed it is Abused, lol. I want to do the rebel flag as a tribute to my step father who passed away, he was from Kentucky and loved the flag, and it just happends the only guitar he ever owned was a late 70's bich 10 string. so it will be kinda a reminder. But enough with the emotional stuff, Zakk's looks great but it would've been better without the beer caps
