Interesting to see these 2 pics of Nancy Luca.

She's from my town, Gainesville. Note the Tom Petty t-shirt. She has always had a Petty fixation. Once, in the late 70's, a radio DJ buddy of mine got some swag at the station and gave me a Tom Petty t-shirt, black, with the Flying V logo from the first album.

I went out to a show wearing the shirt but got there really early and the band (a local new wave group) had just finished sound check, and told me to join them at a house party right next door. Even though I didn't know anyone there, it was better than cooling my heels in an empty bar, so I went over to the party with them.

Nancy was there and immediately took an interest in the shirt. At some point she cornered me in a room alone and offered to trade shirts, haha. Foolishly, I told her I really appreciated the offer, but I really liked that shirt.
