FS - NICE, UPGRADED FENDER STRATOCASTER with Deluxe Hardshell Case, Strap Locks, etc.
$650 with FREE SHIPPING within 48 States (deduct $50 if doing Local Pick-up)
This guitar started life as a 2000 MIM Fender Super Strat but has had many upgrades...
First, the pickups have been replaced with Fender's Bill Lawrence designed SCN (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless)
pickups. These are the same pickups used on the American Deluxe Strats. They are a step-up from Fender's
Vintage Noiseless pups. Here's a link to the Bill Lawrence website with all the details about these amazing
pickups:

Second, the pickups have been wired using the Lindy Fralin "Blender" design. This means the guitar has a
master volume and master tone control and the third knob is a "blender" that lets you dial in as much or as
little of the third pickup as you wish when in positions 2 and 4. This is a tremendous step-up from the original
"Super Strat" design (or that of Fender's new Deluxe Players Strat), which only gave you a push-button to
add in the third pickup. You had no control over how much (or little) of the pup you got (since it was always
fully-on when the button was pushed). The Fralin design gives you almost unlimited tone variations!!!
Next, you get a beautiful transparent red finish that lets the wood grain show through on the body. The
neck is maple with a very easy-playing maple fretboard.
All the hardware is Gold and I've even added gold Dunlop (Dual Design) Strap Locks. However, the original
gold strap buttons are also included should you prefer those.
The deluxe Fender hardshell case fits the guitar like a glove and provides great protection for this sweet guitar.
NOTE: The gold tremolo/whammy bar (not pictured) is include in the case storage compartment, along with the
small allen wrench to adjust the bridge string height.
I accept PayPal at
mmcquain@mcquain.com, cash or USPS Money Orders. Price includes fully insured FedEx
Ground shipping with the lower 48 states. If doing local pickup you can deduct $50 since I don't have to ship
the guitar.
