Ok, so I've decided on a simple fuzz box as my first 'custom' build. I'm going to put it in a surplus military case with a VU meter.

I pulled some plans off the internet with a parts lists.

I have plenty of places to get the 'case' but was wondering if anyone has any good leads on the electrical pieces (PCB's, resistors, etc).

Also, what suggestions do you have on where in the circuit to put the VU meter?
