Interesting, I've never seen it referred to as a JazzMaster before. Usually they're referred to as a Jazz Chorus™, which is what the JC stands for.
At any rate, good for cleans, take pedals well. Bo Diddley used a Jazz Chorus, here's a shot of his in the foreground with my bass rig in the background.  |
