Here is a project that I am working on. It's a 1988 Randall RG100ES... I ripped the chasis out and to clean it up, was filthy. Swapped the knobs to Metal Guitar knobs. I have some noisy pots, so I'm going to wire a few more in there.
I'm going build a Birch head shell, way smaller than the original Bulky Randall shell. That thing is a MONSTER. The new head shell is going to be the same width as my vertical Mesa Dual Recto 2x12 Cabinet, 27" wide. I'll probably stain the Birch to a dark walnut wood color....
I'm throwing a 1962 Magnatone Reverb tank for much smoother and richer reverb. Sounds really good. Here are pics of it thus far.
I should have taken pics of it in the old head shell.

SWEET. I'm trying to get the funds together to buy one or both Randall's for sale at Gear Vault. I just bought me a Randall 2 x 15 cab like Dime used. The speakers were blown, cause the dude was using it to play (c)rap through. Once I clean it up and put some EL Black labels in it it's gonna sound SWEET! :hookem:
EDIT: I got my projects mixed up, my Randall 4 x 12 cab is gettin' the Black Labels, and the 2 x 15 is gettin some Eminence speakers.(Just got the 4 x 12 from MF yesterday.) I hate the way Celestion speakers sound.
Always scoop the mids!! If it ain't METAL...it AIN'T music.
