Default research help needed for vintage fender - 04-28-2010, 07:46 AM

Hey all, can anyone tell me where to go to research the value of a vintage Fender Esquire? I've been trying to help my Father sell his 1959 Esquire top loader. The only thing not original on it is its finish. My Father and Uncle thought it would be "neet" to strip it and keep it as a natural wood finish. I have to admit, it definitely looks pretty sharp, but I know it reduced its resale value. Any help would be appreciated.
