International Guitar ordering Scam -
10-14-2009, 06:17 PM
Hello,
I'm new here. I have a question. Gear Monkey posts those long lists of gear that their suppliers are selling for dirt cheap. I have emailed inquiring about them and it sounds sort of legit. But i'm not sure.
I don't feel comfortable sending an international money order or western union to Malaysia to get a Gibson 2nd day sent to me. It just sounds Fishy.
If it's too good to be true. It probably is. I've searched around and can't find any kind of scam associated with the emails though.
Can someone help? They put a couple Twitter posts up about them today.
Thanks
T

Yeah, stay away from anything like that. Definite scam probability.
