I had a brief Strat period in the early 90's but ever since I really haven't been a Strat guy. I much prefer Teles, Les Pauls, or more obscure single coils (P-90's. Ric High-Gains, DeArmond 2K's, etc.). I always try to keep one Strat-type guitar in the batch for variety's sake (for awhile it was a MIM Fender, currently a Peavey USA Predator) but it's rare I gig with them.
