While My Apocalypse is okay, I don't think it is great. It's only 10% of what they are really capable of producing.
Take away the "Metallica" name, the funding and the media hype, then you'd have an average song at best... and if the "said band" wasn't signed, this song certainly wouldn't get them signed.
I'm just saying, I think most kids think it's great because it has 'Metallica's' stamp on it. Or maybe it's because Metallica created so much crap, we think this is a huge accomplishment?
I wouldn't buy it... or really bother to listen to it again. I think Megadeth are making better music. |
I would have to agree with you 200%. MegaDeth stuck to their guns all this time, not to say some songs the recorded weren't that good, but the majority, I'd say about 97% of their stuff is" awesome thrash".
The "new" Death Angel album is better than MetalliCRAP.
