you were ok with what you said abotu multi effects to each his own, i have a older multi effects pedal and i feel the older ones do sound much better then the newer stuff....

i dont use single pedals , i use a digitech rp-12 its a old unit but sounds great and give me many sounds to choice and create my own...... maybe look into some kind of effects unit.. most will say...
