Btw, I checked and the import Hamers with P-90's are also mahogany, in addition to the Hamer USA's with P-90's. Obviously the imports cost considerably less. I haven't played the imprts but they have...

Basswood? Hmm, not sure which Hamer you were looking at, it must have been one of the import series or something. I'm unaware of any of the Hamer USA models using basswood. Mine is mahogany, as are...

LP Junior = 1 pickup

You meant LP Special (2 pickups)

Yes, good eye, it's a Hamer Special. They came without a pickguard, I added the one on that one.
