I really like that finish, I think all black hardware would have been even nicer. That pickguard clasp sticks out like a sore thumb.
What's the verdict after having some hands-on experience?

I absolutely LOVE the neck on my 88 Sabre. It also made me realize I vastly prefer an unfinished neck, too. My other Ibanez has a lacquer finish on the back, and one of these...

Nice looking headstock design on that one, too. Normally I prefer black guitars, but I think the red and green finishes show off the quilted maple to a greater degree.
