Randall XL Cab
This is the cab I decided on for my Mesa Dual Recto. It was either this or a Marshall with V30's, I like the Randall better.

I was checking that axe out too man! I love the graphics, and I'm also a big fan of unfinished necks. I feel a gfuitar is like a woman, you get better response when you touch skin. Not a big fan of...

Re: Zoom HD16CD bundle.
It comes bundled with Cubase LE, I'll probly use that for a while and then get Some version of Pro Tools. I emailed Samson(Zoom) and they told me it's compatible as long as there is a midi interface....

Re: Tascam GTR1 Portable Guitar / Bass Recorder
The Tascam has more features, but I'd never use them, I like the Line 6 because like you said, it's just a straight on riff recorder. And like you, and I'm sure countless more guitarists, I've...

I like this one better:

it's cheaper at 150 bucks for the fully loaded model, and would serve my purpose's for it well.

It's a set neck or neck through, I don't recall which, but it had no neck bolts. It also had some funky metal fret markers too. Was it a good axe for him? The little i held(didn't have a pick and my...

Re: Enlighten me please!
OK, I figured it out. 2 8ohm 150w speakers run in series = 16ohms and 300w's. If in parallel then it = 4ohms and 300w's, but the amp doesn't have to work as hard to push the speakers, so you don't...

My Ohm's Law is a little rusty, if I have 2 8ohm 150w speakers run in series, I know the impedence stays the same, 8ohms, but does the wattage stay the same or increase. Meaning will this setup...

Re: New guitar
Does it buzz from frets 1-12, or 12-24? Does it buzz just strumming open strings, or when you play a chord? Open string buzz is a bridge height adjustment, chorded buzz is either truss or nut,...
