Nice!
I've always wanted to get a double neck SG, but I doubt I'd ever use it

Sweet, yeah it's definitely on par with the SG Standard I used to have, though I did like the pickups on that one a bit better

Re: Should I trade!?
Yeah, I know most of it is going to be preference, but I kinda just want to see if anyone has any opinions on the Viper especially, how it sounds/plays/etc.
I really like the Jackson, but I can't...

The one by me was selling for $300 I think it was. Not a bad price.

Re: Fostex MR-8 MK II Multitrack Recorder & MR8HD
The bassist in my old band used to have one of these before we upgraded to a Presonus FirePod.
It was pretty cool, but the Korg my other friend has produces WAY better recordings, but is also...

Re: New amp.....Mako
That's a Makoplex right?
I almost bought one of those, but I'd heard it's more voiced for hard rock type stuff and isn't as tight as the Dorado.
Either way, I'm sure it sounds awesome though!...

Re: Tube vs. Transistor
Yeah, Geminis are pretty cool, there was one on CL a few weeks ago that I wanted to pick up but the guy never answered his emails.
The VH-140C is a SS amp made by Lee Jackson, the VL series Ampegs...

Re: Tube vs. Transistor
I honestly have no idea when it was built. The amp sounds great though, I'm currently trying to trade it and one (or both) of my 2x12 cabs for a decent combo though. My gear is taking up wayyyy too...

Re: Tube vs. Transistor
I used to be a tube purist until I go my Ampeg VH-140C.
That amp slays half of the "high end" tube amps I've played and owned. The cleans are amazing and the distortion is huge.

I guess the guy really needed cash and priced it extremely low. There was actually a Mesa Mark IV head for sale the next day for $600, I wanted to buy it and resell it, since I've already had one and...

Re: NAD again
I loved the amp actually, I just didn't want to hold on to it with the amount of cash I had in it because I know at some point I'd probably sell it and didn't want to take a $300 price hit on it...

Awesome!
I just got rid of my Nitro. It was a sweet amp but people were driving the value down A LOT on HC, so it was time for it to go, didn't want to lose ~$300 on it, instead, I traded it and...

Out of those cabs, the Krank cab is by far the best built, I just got a Mesa Road King last night and have yet to try it with my 2x12 with Texas Heats, if you can go for the Rev cab instead though,...

I rewired everything today, no sound again. Someone suggested that it might be the switch that's gone bad... I noticed that if I press the "leaves" of the switch together I do hear a little blip of...

I'm sorry to let this one go, but I have some major Les Paul G.A.S. right now and something has to go, and since I already have 3 SGs, this has to be the one unfortunately.
The pictures show it...

Re: Need answer before end of action
Not sure how much you're willing to spend, but I remember seeing a 20/20 or a 50/50 over on Harmony-Central for sale for like $500 I think it was.
There was also a Quad preamp on there for $500,...
