Depending on the over all cosmetics, the 3210 head is worth about $200 - $225 street price (+ shipping if you sell online). If you were to try and sell it to guitarcenter.com, they'd probably only give you $75 - $125. The Marsahall 4x10 1965b could fetch between $200 - $250. They have nice punch and are very portable. Seems there are people out there looking for them as they're a bit harder to get now-a-days. That's just a rough guesstimate. EDIT: You are welcome to throw it up on http://gear-vault.com/classifieds if you like

I saw kits that are a direct fit for Mesa Recto slant cabs someplace... but I don't remember where.
Your way is probably easier on the pocket book anyhow. It'll look great.

Gear / Amplification / Over £60,000 Of Orange Guitar Amps Stolen
|
on: August 19, 2008, 10:56:53 PM
|
Big loss for Orange amplifiers. About ($115,600 USD) worth of amps have been stolen from Orange's Borehamwood headquarters. http://gear-monsters.com/over-60000-of-orange-guitar-amps-stolen/One of the world’s most famous British amplifier brands, Orange Amps, has just announced a major theft of a container load of amplifiers from its Borehamwood premises. Used by some of the biggest stars such as Madonna, Led Zeppelin Prince and Kaiser Chiefs, the robbers targeted this prestigious brand to carry out a daring raid on Saturday 16th August. The one hundred forty one Orange Tiny Terror Combo guitar amps, which have a combined value of over £60,000, were part of the first shipment of the much anticipated amps into the UK. The product was launched at the Frankfurt music exhibition earlier this year, on the back of the award winning acclaimed Tiny Terror amp which has sold over 30,000 units and proven to be one of the most in-demand amps in the world. The combination amp and speaker has a value of £439 each and was stolen from a temperature controlled, sealed forty foot container. The robbers couldn’t break the locks so they attempted to use an acetylene welder and then angle grinders to cut through the quarter inch locking steel plates. As this was part of the first delivery into the UK, only 121 units had been shipped into music shops, so this is still a highly sought after amp with very limited availability. Orange recently won the Queens Award for Enterprise - International Trade. The Police have launched a major investigation and informed all relevant port and home authorities. Orange Amplifiers are putting up a reward of £5000 for information that will lead to a successful conviction and recovery of these amplifiers. If you have any information please contact the local Police force on 0845-3300222, quoting Crime Number J1/08/3588. The company have the serial numbers of all the products stolen which is available on it’s website at orangeamps.com.

I know what you mean. I'm still trying to get back into the groove. Sounds like you had a nice time off... the xbox sounds like fun. Part of me wants one, but on the other hand, I know i'd probably like it toooooo much. Back to the grind ninja-man. Ease back into it slowly, don't pressure yourself to be 100%... and let your boss know

Gear / Amplification / Re: MESA 20/20 OR PEAVEY CLASSIC 50/50
|
on: August 17, 2008, 02:49:18 PM

Hi every one hope this is where to ask this question.Ok now for the lowdown on what I am wanting to do. First off I just got the new GT-10 by boss my band plays a big mix from country to metal, Blues to pop and oldies, so I need to be versatile in my tones. I want to hook my GT-10 strait to the stereo rack mount head then out to a right and left cab with Vintage 30's so I need to get the stereo head I have found 2 that sound like what may work and that is the Mesa 20/20 and or the Peavey 50/50 classic I am going to mic it and go threw our PA system so I don't need lots of volume. My axes are a fender strat, Vantage VP795 and a Les Paul with 498T and 500T pickups. them are the main ones I use .I want to be able to also get a real good Bluesy tone so my question is which rack amp head would be best matched for what I want and if neither of these please let me know what other one would be better. Please respond asap before my wife finds out I have this money to get it with she will want to go to Wal-Mart LOL. Welcome to the forums! Yeah, you better hurry up and buy something man, cause if she's anything like my wife.. shew! I personally don't have a lot of experience with either one, I read great stuff on both. However, I am a biased Mesa nut... so my vote goes to Mesa. On another note, Peavey make damn good quality gear... so I understand your dilemma. From another point a view, Mesa holds better value unlike Peavey gear. So if you do go with Mesa and decide that it's not for you, your chances of selling it off without losing money is better (If you buy it for a good price used). Hope this helps a little and sorry I couldn't offer a bit more information. Maybe some else here can chime in. GL

Hey shreds yeah, actually I had one. Unfortunately, I didn't mess around with it as long as I would have liked. Though I did like the tones I did get from it when I tested it. it was this one http://www.tonebone.com/tb-classic.htm and it sold pretty damn fast. There are a lot of guitarists out there who like em.
