Crate GX130C - $225 shipped
 

Some guys (who have owned both) have stated the Crate GX130C as "similar is Ampeg VH140C". Personally, I cannot confirm this as I never played the Ampeg. But I can confirm that the Crate GX130C is a brutal metal amp and also produces decent cleans when you apply some chorus and reverb (which is built in)

Notable players that use(d) the Crate GX130C was Cannibal Corpse (see video below)

The amp come with a footswitch channel selector.
