Guitar playability
Hey what's up fellow pickers, ok I own a schecter and an ibanez and both are crap compared to a new charvel I played this last weekend, as far as playability and fit and finish go charvel has the korean and japanese guitars go. I mean come on ibanez and a few others put a compond radius fingerboard on your guitars. Now if you haven't played a compound radius neck you need to try one they make picking and fingering so much more comforatable. That guitar was set up perfectly no fret buzz at all and the action was 1.5 on the low side and the high side was 2.0 mm. I wish that the other manufacturers would jump on this compound radius neck, so needless to say looks like I'm purchasing a Charvel.

Re: Guitar playability
I had a Charvel back in the day. It was a cool guitar... the stock pups were really punchy too.
Can you link us to the model that you played? |

Oh hell ya that's nice. I just emailed them to see how to become a dealer because they don't have too many dealers here in Michigan.
This is what my old Charvel looked like. It was a great guitar http://i13.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/20/15/c3a1_1.JPG |

Re: Guitar playability
Ibanez's JS1000 and JS1200 Satriani signature models have compound radius necks.
Those Charvels are some nice looking axes! I take it there's no option for a rosewood or ebony fretboard? |
Re: Guitar playability
You could play some Ratt and Winger with that
