I just noticed there still isn't a sub-forum for this, but was thinking this sort of discussion could all go in the monkey pit music part. I figure the forums as is aren't getting a ton of traffic so there isn't much need to create a bunch of child boards. Plus it all falls under the realm of music discussion. I would love to talk some theory or learn some techniques or picking exercises. :w:

I am a guitar player, and I dont think anything really works. and strings are cheap enough to just change them. my brother that plays bass uses mineral oil too though, and it seems to work for him.
