OK, local sale, a seller says he has a Fender tube amp for sale. He describes it as a "Twin Reverb," but with one 15" speaker instead of the the usual 2 12"s.

I'd never heard of such a thing, but I'm guessing it must be one of these:

Here's the kicker. The msrp on these boogers is a tenner shy of $2G's, Muso's Friend sells 'em for $1500.

Seller's asking price?

"$200 OBO"

I'm broke as a joke right now but if this thing actually works I think I'ma find a way. Even if just to have for awhile until I can flip it.

Damnit that sucks! Oh well, you'll hit the mother load. Seems like you keep an eye on your local music gear market. Do you use craigslist?

Yep, that's where it was listed for sale. Found a few small amps and a bass there so far. Have been having good luck with pawns lately too.
