Metallica - Info and new album stuff

Ok I know everyone is use to seeing metallica topics and of course i can't say i never post them, but i cant say much concidering they are my fav band and im one of the few who love ALL of there album, yes even load and st, anger.. I am also one a the few whos fav is not Master of puppets.. its acctually ...And Justice for All

anyway I'm making this post as per request.. About metallica gear, tour, and any album info... and i guess you opinion to see if the album is going to be good or not..just dont get in a war with anyone, because some fans take this personal...if so take the topics to bullshit and politics, lol

As i posted in another thread, James hetfield will be "using" for recording Deizel amps. the Vh series i think its called or vt im not to sure. He will not be endorsing these amps, so of course it will say metallica uses marshall amp and esp guitars blah blah blah.. even though metallica has used mesa mark series amps forever.. st.anger was acctually recorded with Wizard amps slaved though mesa..

Just a tidbit of info, add to it please

I agree, Metallica is sensitive as politics. I disliked St Anger and load / reload the most.

My favorite wasn't Master of Puppets either...though I loved their guitar, amp, bass, and drum tones on that album... Ride the Lightning was my fav next to the Black album. I really love the guitar tone in black and Kirks lead / fill work wasn't the same ol mumbo jumbo fast playing. It has feel to it.

I'm really hoping to see a new Metallica. I don't want MOP, Kill em All, Load, St Anger.. I want them to be their own. I don't want them to write for the fans, what the fans want or what the fans like.. they need to write what they feel and how they want to express it.

The Some Kind of Monster DVD embarrassed me... I was embarrassed for them. It was so much drama and crying, wtf was that?? Even the meeting between lars and mustaine was pathetic.. and James is such a bone head in the matter.... and here I am caught up in their drama. lol.

It was 25 freakin years ago.. get over it!!! Now lets make music!

Rumor has it that AJFA has absolutely no bass track on the mix at all. Is't that interesting! I can't confirm this tho... I'll try to dig a link where I read this.

I was watching james in an interview from AJFA and james was saying that there is lots of bass in the mix, the problem with it was that the frequency of tones and the mix on ajfa was at a such a level that when james rythem and the bass were put over the mix.. the two tracks were fighting to be heard, and he said that the way it was done they could not clearly have both tracks at the same or close levels of volume, because it made it to muddy sounding, so the bass was lowered till everything was cleared up. and wham!! a guitar album, I LOVE IT

I was a BIG Metallica fan. Right up until they sold out. All the albums after justice were not to my liking. MegaDeth is the only band out of the two that NEVER sold out and went mainstream/commercial. So I have more Megadeth cd's than metallica right now, All though I hear the new album is supposed to be a "return" to roots kinda deal. My fav cd was Garage Days Re ReVisited. The first ep with Jason "Newkid" on bass.
