Weekend Thread Firday 13th/Valentine's Day
 

Anyone do anything good this weekend?

I was planning to go out Friday night and take my daughter (she's almost 16) with, but she got sick so I just stayed hom and hung out with La Familia.

Saturday, I went and got a haircut in the morning and then had a meeting with a client (which has happened only a handful of times in the last 25 years-- our clients are generally all out of town) who was in town for the weekend. After we met at my office for about an hour or so strategizing on his case, I took him to lunch at a good Mexican restaurant near my office. Saturday night I hung out at home again.

Sunday we skipped church in the morning. I tried to set up an evening band practice but it fell through. My evening from 5 pm until about 9 pm was at church with my son where the youth group was having a "sweetheart dinner" for couples from the church. I was basically in the kitchen helping for 5 hours straight. Didn't do any cooking, but did food plating, washing and drying dishes, and then putting everything clean back away once we were done. It was a ton of work, there over 50 people eating all at once, took me back to my high school days when I was a busboy at a country club, only I didn't have a chance to actually go out into the dining room the whole time. On return watched "Blazing Saddles" on the AMC cable channel with my son.

my weekend was fairly boring this week haha really the only things i did was sit and watch tv with my gf and got the paint on my necks as long as my in lays in, which i will get pics on tonight i almost forgot haha , o and my last two fish died this week :frown: but yeah that was about it

yeah well i mean they were only feeder fish haha the comet gold fish but still they probably should have lasted longer haha
