How To Build a Fuzz Pedal

Doing some random research today, I ran across a guitar blog called fretbase and found their article "how to build a fuzz pedal" interesting. Thought i'd post it for others to read. I'd really

like to build a pedal someday.

Here’s a video of guy that built the E.S.V. Fuzz from BYOC:

That's a great article. The DIY scene has exploded over the years. The build your own clones are cool.

I wrote a post about a Fuzz I built sometime ago. It's a little more advanced since it's done old school on perfboard but if anyone is interested the schematic and layout are on the site.

why not build a distortion pedal where you can adjust settings down to a fuzz for more options?

I built a TS-808. It sounds fantastic, too bad there is nobody around here to hear it!!
