Vintage guitar
Okay so most people associate Vintage with high quality :) well I'm here to break that, lol.
I was wondering if anyone has any information on a (i think) early 80's possibly late 70's Fiesta f50 LP Clone. I can not find anything on it online except for one picture, can anyone help? I think it was like a catalogue guitar, but I'm so curious, I'm buying one next week, some old guy found in his attic. |
Is it made in mexico?
Never heard of it. |
Apparently they're Asian-made cheapies. About all I could find out about Fiesta is that Fiesta was founded by someone called Harold Kleinman in 1972, and that they are still selling very inexpensive guitars on the web. The ones I could find were either kid's acoustics or Fender-type knockoffs though. Couldn't find anything on LP copies.

Yeah Brain I guess they are the Jap Scrap as I know them, I didn't get it, plywood body flat top not arched like a lp, and they neck was just ewwww... Still don't know much more then you said about them, I guess it's for the best :) |
It was worth asking about and doing further research, you never know when you may find a diamond in the attic.
I had a few lucky breaks finding rare instruments that had value. One was an older Fender Strat that was using old stock fret boards when assembled. After some research the guitar I paid $800 for was actually worth $2,700 because of rare parts used on it from the factory. I can't exactly remember all the details about wood type, I think pau ferro or brazilian. But it's always worth doing all the research you can about stuff. |
That's what i was looking for Diamonds. but just got the rough this time ;)
