Have you ever seen a 7 string Les Paul?
 

I always thought that a 7 string LP style guitar would be cool but never ran across one until I found this pic on the net. Epiphone apparently made a few of em.
Id love to have One of those instead of the Super Strat designs out. A Gibson one would be even better.

never fully understood the point of a 7 string guitar myself...... seems like with a shorter scale of a standard les paul the low B would be rather muddy? don't know never really messed with them, i know baritone guitars are nice.

it's a heavier string. so it is as taught as a baritone. not muddy at all.
