Did you get the chance to jam out on one?

Re: Marshall JCM800 2203KK.
No. But a friend of mine has one, along with a Bugera 333XL, so I've heard him jammin it at a party. Awesome Metal from Heaven(or Hell, whichever the case may be). He uses his Bug for his clean tone, via a Morley ABY switch.

If you get a chance, test drive a Laney GH50L. I think you'll like it. It's basically a JCM 800 on steroids.
Chances are, you might find one in a pawn shop. |
Re: Marshall JCM800 2203KK.
Sweet, I'll have to check one out. But the Kerry King version has KT88's in it, which give it a warmer/darker tone. It still sounds awesome for blues style music too though. The theory being that the low mids are boosted with the 88's, giving it a "richer fuller sound". I don't know about all that, I just know it's LOUD and sounds AWESOME.

This amp is just awesomeness in all its glory. Dont like other marshalls at all, too mid heavy, but dialed in right this thing has the perfect attack for such a sick and bitey tone.
