Greco Zemaitis Guitar
This is one really fine looking guitar. Bit overpriced imo ($1350) but I really like how the duralumin is etched. Greco are a MIJ (Japan) guitar company.

I've been very intrigued by these guitars, but haven't had an opportunity to try one out. My dream guitar is actually an original Tony Zemaitis Metal Front. I had the fortune to tech for a guy who played one, and spent a fair amount of time with it. Just a beautiful guitar. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to take out a second mortgage on my house to buy an original one, so I was thinking one of these might fill the void. Another cool maker kind of inspired by Zemaitis is Teye Guitars.

Didn't Ron Wood in the Stones have a(n original) Zemaitis? I always thought they were pretty cool.
Actually, iirc that price compares pretty favorably to Gretsch's MIJ models. |

Those Teye ones are interesting, definitely look inspired by Zemaitis. |
Yeah, Ron Wood was a big fan and owned several. Here a pic of him playing a similar metal front to my buddy's only with more knobs.

That's a little closer to reality.

Poor Ronnie. Has anyone heard if he's finally decided to dry out? He'd better quick, cause that bottle will kill him if he's not careful. |
