I've wondered about that logo before. When I look at it quickly, it resembles a guy with a big fro. My money would have been on a lion, though.

I thought it was a ghoul from the trees... I'd never had guessed either. But when I see that face, I know it's EHX, which, in essence, does what it suppose to.

If you look up any history of the Big Muff, you'll find that the original "Triangle Knob" version was replaced by the "Ram's Head" version that had that little logo. So it's been around since the early 70's.

Personally, I always figured it was patterned on the "Green Man" concept, which is something you see in lots of medieval architecture.
