I love ash and I love Deluxe's, I don't currently have a deluxe (exept in a bass) but that would be my choice.

I wish I could be more helpful, but I 'left' Fender for G&L a long time ago. I don't care for the SRV stuffif that helps. Played it and it wasn't quite smooth enough for me. I did really kind of dig the Clapton the one time I got to play around on it.

Me personally, I'd just as soon not play a sig guitar, so 4 and 5 are out. I prefer meple boards, and am guessing the '62 is rosewood.

So, for me, #1 or #3, Probably #1 for the chunkier neck.
