How do you think this guy will impact Obama's chances?

He seems to be a bit of a press whore.  There's no telling how long he'll grab headlines.

Obama is starting to distance himself big time by calling his recent speeches "divisive and destructive".  Too little too late?  Or does it not matter anyway?

I feel that Jeremiah Wright really is messing up Obama's chances.  His little soundclips are enough to deter some undecided moderate voters, which is a shame. Hopefully Obama can still win the nomination, I just feel a little iffy about how long it took him to straight up denounce Wright's rants.

The whole thing seems strange to me.  I guess I would have been more comfortable if Obama had distanced himself earlier, or maybe even stuck with the guy longer.  He had such glowing things to say about him for so long, it's wierd for him to completely drop him now.

On the flip side, it's tough to tell how much of the recent press is Wright's doing Vs. the media loving a scandel and milking it for all it's worth.  In this case, it's probably a little of both.
