If you find a good deal on one of these, buy it! These amps are way underrated and really perform. I had two of them (sold them for different gear), but they are definitely the perfect amp for tube snobs and tone junkies. Basically, they are balls to the walls Marshall JCM800 on steroids. They are switchable to from EL34 to 6L6 and have a bias switch. The cleans are really nice, the crunch is rich and the drive has a punch-you-in-the-chest monstrous gain.
The GH50L = 50 watts
The GH100L = 100 watts
And the best part about these amps is they are underrated and can be had cheap. I purchased my for between $300 - $400 for an all tube amp head. That's a bargain!
(Laney also has the VH100R series, which is two channels - but are priced much higher)
