Ok, so I have about 200 bucks saved up. and I have 2 guitars that i need new pickups in pretty badly. An SG with 2 humbuckers and a vintage mod telecaster with a mini hum in the neck, and 2 single coils. Either I can replace with really good pups in one guitar, or look for some kind of lower priced pickups and try to replace both. Any help would be much appreciated. :w:

Anything Seymour Duncan. I personally love SDs. Their not too pricey for what you get, either.

I bet that SG would sound killer with a Custom and 59. If you like metal (like your moniker leads me to believe :winkx: ) you could check out the Duncan Distortion for the bridge position. Go to their website and listen to their soundbites.

I'd go with less name brand, botique type pups, and get some great sounding pups for both guitars. Check out these places:

www.trickedoutguitar.com (http://www.trickedoutguitar.com)

I bet you'll find exactly what you need at 1/4 the cost!
