has anyone ever played or own one i do and just was wondering if anyone else has ever had the chance to play one?

never have had the chance to try one, but had a samick amp once, Crazy distortion.. sorry off topic.

Not me. But I owned a Samick 6 string acoustic and it was a great guitar. Samick often offers a lot for a reasonable price.

yeah i agree with you about them offering alot for a good price... and as for a amp i will have to try to get my hands to try one haha that intrigues me :w:

i don't know if it was samick but i played a 12 string a couple of times and they sounds sweet

just when you strum them it's like a angel starts to sing haha...it just give you that much fuller sound and i dunno there is just something about it i like a lot

is it more of a strumming instrument than a picking instrument? you'd have to pick the sets of twos?

yeah you would mostly play chords but i can play melodies and i know i have seen others play melodies like i believe the guitarist steven ruthery (not sure if i spelled that right) from the band marillion plays a twelve string melody on the song easter. it is on youtube if you look up marillion-easter one of the videos has him playing it on a twelve string
