Inside your profile area (access your profile area by clicking your username) is your unique 'Referrals Link', scroll down to center of the page and you'll see the link that you need to copy. This is what you will need to get credit for all the friends that you bring here to Gear-Monkey.
Tips on how to get hits to your "Referrals Link":
*Send it out in mass emails to all your friends-
*Post it in your signature on other message forums- (be sure to read their rules)--(use anchore text (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchor_text) to keep your signature clean)
*Make 'announcement' threads on other message forums- (be sure to read their rules)
*If you have your own website, blog, or your own free google blogspot (http://www.blogger.com/), simply write a blog and post your link on there. (Traffic and content is king)
*If you have your own website or free blog, you could submit this to Digg.com, Propeller.com, Stumble.com and other bookmarking sites.
*Post the link on your Myspace.com-
*Send out a bulletin to yor Myspace.com friends-
The possibilities are endless to get referrals. Just be sure to respect other websites, so you don't come off as spam, which could make you lose privileges on their websites. So be sure to carefully read their rules, and if in doubt, perhaps you should Privilege Message their forum Moderator.
