I bought one of these a couple years ago. It's been with me to Japan, China, Hong Kong, Austria, Germany, England, Scotland, and many US states. Anyone else?

That's a crazy axe. Unfortunately, I don't travel too far to need an axe to travel with. I've taken my Dean Acoustic on road trips, but that's about it.

What is that axe anyhow?

It's a Traveler Speedster. It's well made and sounds good. The neck is Les Paul like, but the thing is very light. It's small too. I can fit it diagonally in a suitcase, but I normally just carry it around in a small gig-bag and stuff it in an plane's overhead compartment.

I don't always take it on short trips, but it sure is nice to have for trips longer than one week.

That's pretty cool, looks like one of the nicer travel guitars. I don't really travel enough to justify investing in something like that, plus usually I can find some sort of instrument to play at my travel destinations. Has anyone tried the travel guitars that have a built in speaker? I wonder how those sound.
