favorite drop tuning

my favorite atm is Drop B my ibanez at the bottom is at drop B, and jesus it took me awhile becuase of the bridge -.-
i love drop B i dont know why, its the only tuning i can really REALLY shread in for some weird reason......

I don't play much really heavy drop-tuning metal, so I usually play in standard. I do like occasionally playing in drop D or DADGAD tunings. The low D creates a very cool sort of resonance on open chords. It also makes you think outside the box and come up with some riffs you usually wouldn't think of.

my normal tunings are Eb, C# standard tuning down 1 /12 steps, DADGAD replaces normal dropped D for me.

I don't play dropped tunings, and seldom play alternate tunings. Once in a blue moon DADGAD.
