Banner blocking some menus

I just noticed the Gear Vault banner thing sort of blocks the search and quick links menus when I try to open them. This isn't anything big, but I thought I'd mention it. I just clicked one of the quick links that I couldn't see because of the banner and found a really cool looking user CP page. Is there anything else I'm missing?

We have a full width ubermenu that sits below the header. We have a need for a small utility nav to the right of the logo or the position for Banner Code For Header #4. Is there a way for us to use a WordPress menu shortcode here to render the menu or use a PHP snippet?
