Im pretty happy with what my Pod Xt gives me right now with the model packs and all. But the 2 amps at once function on the Vettas Ive played was killer especially with split cabs of different designs.
Anyways What do you guys think. Worth ditching my Xt and getting the Xt3 or Not really?

Update:
Tried out the X3 and nah Im gonna keep the XT. The two amps at once is cool but the X3 navigation and the general product didnt warrant the $$$ over what my XT has.
Plus GC offered $100 for a 3 model pack loaded near mint XT.
Pass.
The Spyder Valve they had was pretty good sounding and in the loud room as well.

Thanks for the heads up man. I never played a POD. But I can vouch for the HD147 being a great amp. They're bit pricey, but have lots of cool stuff built in.

As far as the POD goes, for teh price / with built in effects, seems like a well rounded unit.

Down side is they are digital sounding. You can't get that rawness out of them like a blasted JCM800.

Agreed on the digitalness. However the XT does record very well and beats the shit out of spending an hour setting up a Mic and amp for home noodling.
Also using the XT with a tube amps effect loop can smooth out those digital artifacts and with some trial and error can get close to those all tube signals.
So many variables though that you can get lost.
